Merv started his career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director in publishing (magazines and comics). After 12 years in publishing, he decided to apply his creativity, design, and leadership skills towards marketing and technology.
Merv is an experienced senior creative leader with extensive expertise on both client and agency sides - delivering award-winning content, branding, marketing, and executions for global brands.
Merv has built, managed and mentored teams of diverse personalities, core competencies, experience level and skills sets in deadline driven environments. He has functioned as a director of cross-functional collaborative teams of designers, copywriters, developers, sculptors, set designers, fine artists, photographers, video producers, and community managers.
Merv graduated with honors from Pratt Institute's Design Management Masters program. Picked as one of "21 Who Will Change Business: Design Thinkers Out to Change the World" by Business Week.
